I am looking for a pair of 12inch red cold cathodes to accent the water cooling in my HAF 932. I have looked around alot but most of the reviews of red cold cathodes say they look orange. My question is does anyone know where I can get a pair of true red cold cathodes? Thanks

what brand of cathodes are you using? i only know of two companies that make them. logisys and ac ryan. i may be wrong though

Im not using any cathodes ATM. I am looking to buy a pair but must of the reviews I read say the Logisys look orange. I just want them to be a nice bright red.

I couldn't tell you but I do know that most pictures of red cathodes you find on websites may look orange but prob aren't as orange in person. Pictures of red lights don't look right on screen. Have you thought about using LEDs?

I bought some red ones a few years ago and was disappointed. So i bought a red sharpie and colored them. Much better after that. The ones linked above are supposed to be better. If not... Sharpie!

if worse comes to worse you could always try something else. maybe red saran wrap around a white cathode. ghetto i know haha

I want them to be able to light up the inside of my HAF 932 but not completely flood it with bright red light so you can't see whats inside. They have different amounts of LED's on bars. How many LED's on a single bar should I get? Should I get two small LED bars? The different combinations of LED's per bar are under the Lighting section/razer LED's. Thanks

I have two "red" cathodes that are really orange. I think they are Logisys, but I'm not 100% on that.

LEDs provide much more tasteful lighting imo. Cathodes are like flood lighting, they just send light everywhere. LEDs are more direction and give you the option of throwing in a full strip like linked above or doing really nice highlights. Also, if you're feeling adventurous, its fairly easy to wire up an LED strip yourself and save some $$.
