Yeah it's mainly a gtx285 review but has other cards. Wished they would have tested more games though! I just happen to stumble across this trying to justify a gtx 285 purchase.

Question is; How trusted? =o)~

They do don't they? Didn't ATI have issues in the past with AA? Man ATI is kicking some butt this generation.

This isn't enthusiast settings. If you wanted to improve the looks you'd set it to that, and then highering AA would just cut the frames down. One ce it becomes playable I'd expect benchies to start using it more.

Before the 2900XT & HD3870, ATi was better with AA on. Now they are again.

Not quite with 4xAA. You need 8xAA and very high resolution for the massive shader power of the RV770 start to really outshine other factors.

Robilar says that his 4870x2 owns GTX 295 with settings maxed in cod4 / cod waw, in which games if going by "trusted" reviewers gtx 295 is supposed to dominate.

This makes the GTX 285 a better deal compared to the GTX 280 now. However, I never go 100% by reviews because I won't get that exact fps. Still debating between a gtx 260 and gtx 285. Hopefully the 4890 forces a price drop!
