I'm currently trying to figure out how much radiator I need for my setup vs how much I can actually fit. Right now my choices are between a pair of slim 240's and a single regular-sized 360 (brand is secondary to sizing right now).

The loop will consist of a D5 vario+XSPC res/top, XSPC RZGTX590 block for my GTX 590, and XSPC raystorm for the i5. Overclocking is going to be mild at best, I'm not looking to set records with this setup. Since this is the case, which would be the better idea? Either setup will require modding the case so I'm open to whichever works best.

Anyways, part of the problem I'm running into is this: The specs on the sites selling the radiators are making my life difficult. Which one should I believe here? I'm working in a pretty space-constrained area so I have to know how big it is before I buy it...

What do you mean by a "Regular sized 360"?

Also those dimensions you are looking at are the overall dimensions of the radiator, When people say 240mm or 360mm, It's just to do with 2 x 120mm fans or 3 x 120mm fans, But the overall dimensions include the rad tanks on either end etc.

Edit: I see what you mean by the dimensions, My bad
, Anyway, Believe what the product overview states it to be.

Edit 2: Sorry.. Really tired atm.. It's 4:30am and haven't had much sleep, I would believe the MM sizes as they're more likely to be accurate.

Two slim 240s are going to give you more cooling power than a thick 360 given the same type of fans. Have a look at the MCR220, it is pretty slim and compares well to most of the top rads in the mid fan speed range. It is also really cheap and looks decent.

Edit: Oh and the HAF X should fit any 360 up top.

Sorry I should have specified
its not going in a HAF X its Going in here

I was leaning more towards the 2x 240's because I will have to allow a 360 to stick out the back of the case and route the tubing back in. Thats what I was looking for, the fans will be medium RPM (1400), the MCR220 was at the top of my list for dimensions right now.

Fair enough, I was going off your sig. That looks like a nice case, I really like the colour. Black is fine and all, but it gets boring after a while.

Yeah, I can recommend the MCR220. I have an MCR220 and 120, they are well made rads with decent performance. The surface finish is pretty durable too if that is important to you; my RX120 and 240 got pretty scratched up whereas my MCR rads are still fine.

From Skinnee's rad comparison the MCR rads are pretty indistinguishable from the rest at 1400rpm:

If you need any dimensions for the MCR220 that you can't get online give me a PM and I will measure mine up for you.

Thanks a lot. That really helps. Just before I started typing this, UPS came and delivered the case. Lo and behold they sold me a blue one and shipped me a black one. Super-pissed, the blue lian-li cases are very hard to find.

I don't know if I'm going to do this build if they can't get me a blue one like I ordered.

Ok well the MCR220 is too big by just a smidge. I can only fit up to 277mm long radiators and still have wiggle room.

This leaves me with the following options I have identified as fitting in the case:

2x XSPC RS240
2x Magicool 240 slim
2x Just about any of the Black Ice (GT Stealth, BIP II, Xtreme 2)

I don't particularly like asking "which one is better" questions but for the life of me I cannot find any reviews of slim-style radiators. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know.

Waiting for my 360 XTX so I can finally get to finish my build.

Slim does not work for me. Only when it comes to ladies.
