I need to remove one of my HDDs from my server to temporarily use somewhere else. I have enough space to move the data from this HDD to the rest of the server, but when I hit remove, it sits for a while and then spits this out at me. I've tried a few times and it keeps saying the same thing. Is there anything I can do?

It is mostly used for media storage and pc backup, but I don't know if I remove it, doesn't it have stuff on it still, which is where the error is coming from?

All of my drives are pooled through Windows Home Server.

I ended up just removing the drive. Nothing that was showing up was anything I couldn't replace. So I just found and deleted those files that appeared to be errors and then I reuploaded them to the server from my main pc. Thanks!

Run chkdsk it will help eliminate any future errors on the drive, it's time to invest in another drive also because it might be failing.
