Simple question. Which one of these would be best for cooling my Q6600 G0???
The Tuniq 120 or the Thermalright TRUE?

Please post your opinions! Thanks

The TRUE cools better than a Tuniq Tower.
TRUE > Tuniq Tower 120.

Fixed.

As everybody else said. The TRUE is better out of the two.

I consider the TRUE to still be the best air cooler. The xigmateks are only good with stock CPU's, once the temps rise, frequency is raised and wattage's are increased. (since that's what OCN has been raving about lately)

I love my Tuniq tower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
True might be better though. I've had mine 2 years I think. It's great.
The TRUE is better but it is rather expensive. I think that if you are going for a mild overclock on your quad, a Tuniq Tower will suffice and save you money.

If you're not OCing and not doing much that's processor intensive, go with whatever you think looks better. I think the Tuniq looks cool.

OK so what's better than a TRUE?

^ I think he mentioned the Xigmatech.
I dunno, I've had my TRUE installed less than an hour and I already love it. Here's why:

TRUE is better and i used it with amd 6000+ @ 3.4 with np and now using it with my celeron 430 @ 3.4 max is 48c.
My 9550 is at 25-23-32-32 (last two seem to be stuck until temps rise above 32) while set at 3GHz. Not much of an OC but it's still pretty chilly under there.
Just brought my Q6600 up to 3.6GHz. Load temps are remaining under 60°C. This means get the TRUE.
Tuniq is old news in the cooler market, the true and even the Xigmatek S1283 will outperform it. you can grab the xig for $14.99 at microcenter right now which is crazy as can be.
the IFX-14 with 3 fans is better than the TRUE.. but it's also $90 bucks. and the true with 2 fans beats it.

the Tuniq is what I have.. it's decent. It kept ,my Q6700 at 3.5 Ghz around 39c idle and 62c load. and keeps my Q9650 currently around 4.0 Ghz under 37c and 57c load. I actually have a TRUE on the way. Be here in a few days. I'll let ya know. but I'm more than sure it's better.

the Xigmatek s-1283 is in the top 3 with TRUE, OCZ Vendetta and the Xig.. but once you get a mid, to high overclock and new fans. the TRUE pulls ahead of all of them.. get the TRUE!
