If you are using the PC input (ie VGA/D-sub) of the LCD TV, the maximum resolution is most likely be 1366x768 (WXGA).
To circumvent this limitation to display at 1080p, I suggest trying to connect from 7900GS's DVI output (with a DVI-to-HDMI cable) to the HDMI 1
input of the TV.
If this does not work, try other HDMI inputs. And, for each input, rename it to ''PC'', ''PC-DVI'', ''DVI PC''...etc by using the Input Labels
feature under Setup
