YES. My god. I've been waiting for this for 8-9 years!

Also, CA said their doing 1v1 to start off, to get the client stable because they said if theres too many people it got highly unstable. They'll be working on it to make it 1v1v1v1 then 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 eventually. Just to clear that up.

it's taken them from march until now, and this was one of the headline 'olive branches' given as compensation for the delay...

and in that time they've also managed to release 4 sets of DLC, totalling almost $20.

better late than never, but i fail to be impressed.

At last they're finalizing the product.
Now if they would just fix all the crashes alot of people (including myself) are having on Windows 7 and Vista, if would be f'ing great :swearing:

Have you tried using the 181.22 drivers for your 260? They seem to be the only drivers that let me and many others with a 260 play Empire TW.

So cool!

I just got back into playing this. Just finished my campaign to wipe the French off the map. The spaniards are next for their meddling in the Americas.

I have a save game for a Swedish campaign where no matter what every time I pull a ship up to Iceland and drop off troops it crashes to desktop. Without fail every time on every patch I've installed.

Funny thing is I can't reproduce it except on that save game.

I absolutley love this game and most of the Total War series, but the damn bugginess drives me bonkers. Within 5-6 hours of gameplay, I'll easily crash 7-10 times.
Regardless, I am super syched for MP campaign, as long as you can play it without crashing within 20 minutes

I've tried playing as them but I always seem to piss off England and catch an ass beating. In this campaign I was playing as england and I really tried to avoid fighting with France but they decided to take Boston and I Just couldn't have that since I wanted to complete the campaign mission so I had to declare war.

Shortly afterwards Spain decided to declare war on me too.

Certainly seems to be the case.. What the heck is with them and refusing to trade with anyone? I swear they were known as traders or something like that but they won't trade with the english or the swedes no matter what I do to woo them.

In the case of my swedish campaign I gave them the 7500 gold gift and they still refused to trade with me! So I attacked and they retaliated by causing a CTD when I decided to take Iceland.
