[TWC forums] Empire total war patch coming next week

i swear there are alot of freaking whiners.
Either that or its just people pirating the game flooding the forum with nagging questions.

Nope, it's badly broken for a lot of people. I got half way through a full campaign with no issue's whatsoever. There's definitely a lot of bugs in my game that only seem to occur from 1730 onwards.

I can't finish a game with the British.
The next turn button disappears after 1752.
Units frozen on the same map tile become unmovable.

I could go on but there's an important football game on right now! C'mon Liverpool!

it must be only with certain factions then.
i been playing for 18 hours and havent seen a glitch yet

A lot of what I see are genuine gripes. I've had a good few CTD's since I got the game, I just save as often as I can so it's not a big problem. The AI does some pretty dumb stuff in battles too. I'm sure all will be fixed or improved over the coming weeks through with CA's patch releases.

As annoying as the whining gets, in the end it can only help the game. If no one complained to CA about bugs and glitches, then they wouldn't know that half of the problems even existed. Whining is good as long as its constructive.

Yeah definitely, you really have to give CA credit for that, from what I can see it'll be an update a week for the next while.

CA has always been good on listening to the community and releasing patches in a timely fashion. Kudos to CA!
