Two DOA Delta AFB1212SHE-F00 In A Row

Hi folks,

I'm extremely angry at the moment:swearing:, because it appears that the fan which came back from RMA is dead as well.

Around a week ago I ordered two Delta AFB1212SHE-F00 fans from NCIX, and when I connect both of them to my PSU, it appears that one of them was dead. I thought I was just unlucky and DOA do happen sometimes, so I sent the dead one back.

The RMA just dropped by today and when I tested it, it's dead as well

. I checked the wiring which both fans appear to be identical. On the other hand, they didn't even send me a new one(I saw dusts around fins and the shroud

).

Now, just before I send it back, is there anyway to check that for sure the fan is dead? Thanks in advance and I apologize for the wall of text. Also, beware if you're planning to order the Delta AFB1212SHE-F00 from NCIX anytime soon.

Not sure how much your aloud to abuse it before they wont take it back but i have lots of fans where i cut off the plugs, took the positive wire, stripped the end and put it into the yellow female end of a Molex plug. Same with the negative and it connects to the black right next to the yellow. That worked for me.

If they dont work when you do that then they probably wont ever work.
