A few quick questions:

Will the DVI input on the gc look as good on a DVI LCD, as say on my 7800gt would make it?

And will the graphics card having trouble running videos and watching movies?

use the onboard sound, get a smaller hard drive, upgrade the case, and get a decent power supply. I don't like it, and i think you're spending your money in the wrong areas, but those 4 are glaring issues.

Ummm, I'm looking to create a good media pc(aka big hard drive), and the speakers are useless without a good sound card. Why upgrrade the case, I know that im going to be getting for the money. I think the psu should be fine for what it is..

then it's fine...sorry. You didn't really outline what you wanted it for and I assumed it was for games. my mistake. It seems like you're paying way too much for not very good speakers though. i'd say get real speakers for an HTPC, not gaming ones.

Ahh, but think about the profits...the profits!! jp jp

I'll can prolly sell my current rig, which would be way overpowered if it were not playing games, but I could sell this rig, and with the money build that one, then have a lot left over for whatever.

That PSU scared me abit, its only 14 amps... It should be ok I guess, but if you start getting reboots and such I would look there first.

Hmm, but I think it shoudl be fine, cause that graphics card aint exaclty power hungary, nor is the cpu. Would cheap decent psu would you recommend? Now that I think about it, powering two DVD drive, and floppy, and that HD might be a bit much for it.

And does anybody know the answers to my questions in my original post?

Id give it a shot before buying a new one, if it does crash/randomly reboot, I would get something around 350-400 watts from antec or enermax, that should be enough. It's the amperage that scares me, the last cheap PSU I used (15A) blew out on me while running cpu burn in @ stock speeds. I also see alot of dead parts at work from bad/weak PSU's.

If you sold that whole thing on ebay....even the monitor you could prolly get $2,500 that is if you titled it at "Super Gaming Computer"......but i still think you should keep it
