I'll be getting an Asus P5B Deluxe and e6400 soon....Do you think this heatsink will fit in the case? Anyone have it? I wanted the black one but....I hate fingerprints.

just find the dimensions of the heatsink and the case, then work it out

That case is a beast. Very roomy, so you will have no problem. My friend has it with a Freezer 64 installed, and there is more than plenty of room left.

It should fit but as a previous poster pointed out just measure it to be sure....I have a blck one and something you should know about them is you cant shut the top door if you have anything in the bays that sticks out even a little bit...Like a flip switch or any thing, it has to fit almost flush with the front of the case to enable the door to close....I have been cutting out the grills on mine and a couple of inches on either side, now I'm making mesh box's tyhat stick out a few inches to let me use whaever bay devices that I want to..It's a pain in the neck...Other than that it's a decent case, I waxed mine and it really brought out the shine ....

You waxed it? That's awesome. I wonder what it would take to get a mirror-finish on the silver version I've heard that the case is really just yellow plastic painted over...hmmm, I'll look into it.

I don't plan on really putting any CD or DVD drives into it. I have an external LG that I plan on connecting via firewire.

Ya I didn't know that Aluminus was so expensive, or I would have gotten one.

I have that case with a freezer 64... I had to remove the air tube (if you will) over the processor for the freezer to fit. You will have to figure out a way to get the grate to screw into the case.

Tigerdirect.ca actually has the silver ultra aluminus for $72 Canadian. Pretty good deal for a full tower aluminum case. I'f love to try standing on one!

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...772&CatId=1510

I forgot to mention...

I have had REALLY BAD luck with TigerDirect rebates through OnRebate.com. On 5 or so tries, I have only gotten 2 rebates...

TigerDirect refunded my rebate 2 other times, but said "too bad" the most recent time.

Funny you should mention, I bought an Ultra power supply (the infamous exploder!!) and the rebate from Tigerdirect never came either (This was a couple of years ago). Good point.
