Well, I own the PSU, and I have to say. It's very stable, has lots of amps on the 12v rail, has amazing flat cables for cable management, and will hopefully last me a very, very long time. If you have the money, I highly suggest you go out and buy it.
very sexy psu and will become more sexier for modular sleeving. I've had mine for 3 months with no issue. Corsair psu = overrated.

Built by Andyson and single rail. Very nice PSUs.
Jonny Guru gave it 9.5/10.
I would still rather have a Silverstone Decathlon PSU, though

I have had it for about 4 months and just bought a second one this weekend also.

Runs my sig rig with two gtx 285's + 9800GT + OC'd i7 920 + 2 SAS 15K drives + 4 1TB Sata Drives + 10 120mm fans

Also had the same specs before but the 4870x2 in there and it ran that w/o breaking a sweat also.
Corsair PSU's aren't overrated at all. That being said, I hear the x3 is really nice also.

BTW, you should of posted this in the PSU section, not the intel.

Flex cables, long flex cables, makes for very easy cable management.
Cables galore, flex cables galore, true modular with flex cables.
Very sexy looking, very quiet, has flex cables.

There is/was/might be an issue with a certain revision, doesn't like running GTX 280's/295's.

Also it's a fully modular unit with flex cables.

I love flex cables, if you can't tell

^^ The X3 has some of the longest cables out there.

Oh bottom mount psu bay, yeah I can see an issue with the cpu connector.

It's good, but imo, it's more of a 850w PSU. Only has a 70a 12v rail, rest is just piled onto the 3.3v and 5v rail to break 1000w. But still, it's a good PSU and all the cables being force flex is nice.

Actually, Corsair PSUs are underrated. A Corsair 850W is most likely a 950-1000W PSU at peak output.

Haven't had any issue with mine after 5 months. My case as huge and all the cables were long enough. Unless you need more than the 70a over the single 12v rail its a good psu. It comes with a lifetime warranty as well.
