What is it?

Well I unlocked my secondary rig which got this 720 BE on a Gigabyte ga-ma770-ud3 rev2.0 with ACC enabled (per core)

Anyhow I ran Prime95 for 1½ hour Torture Test and it had no errors etc and max temp reached was 48c (using a Scythe Mugen 2)

Vcore is at 1,35.
Multi at auto.
CNQ is Disabled.

Anyhow what isthe max safe temp for an unlocked 720BE?
What is the max safe Vcore for an unlocked 720BE?
What is the max safe overclock/multi for an unlocked 720BE?

I reached 3,6ghz on 1.45vcore (could probly go lower) as a TRI core with highest temp at 50c full load (prime) stock vcore was 1.3

Is there no way to find out core temps btw?

CPU page for teh X3

Max recommended vcore is like 1.425, but you can take it up to 1.5v with no problems as long as your temps are cool. Max temp is 73C, but try to keep it under 60C.

There is no max "safe" overclock, heh. Overclock as far as you can. Many unlocked X3's can go to 3.6ghz and beyond.

So 1.425 for a daily basis? 24/7.

They simply state in their specifications 1.425v, although you can run the chip on a 24/7 OC at even 1.5v safely, assuming cooling is sufficient.
You can run 1.55V 24/7 without killing it, so if you're below 1.5V and satisfied with your overclock, that's really good.

I have the MA785G-UD3H with the same unlocked CPU and with the newest BIOS my CPU volts came down from 1.375 to 1.298v @ 2.8-3.2GHz, 3.3GHz+ and it increases to 1.314v. Runs much cooler too of course.(36c idle with the Cooler Master) I only upped the CPU NB VID .025, gave the multiplier X16 and the Memory volts to 2.0v, that's it everything else is on Auto.
So look for the newest BIOS if you don't have it already. it may help you.
