This thread is meant to be a cumulative resource for general usage eyefinity users with questions on game compatibility. As a work in progress it is dynamic and in some cases may need revision. All personally tested games are tested with 3x1 Landscape @ 5760x1080.

Any game that allows the config file or a native configuration/Hex to be tweaked in order to be made compatible or the game supports eyefinity within the in-game options I consider as a "yes", as for placement of the HUD/stretching/scaling, I play most of my games with it off when possible to begin with as I find it distracting so HUD placement comes down to preference. Games that have no current fix that I've found are listed as "no", and games that require a third-party fix, or non-native executable I list as a "third-party fix". As I find more and more fixes they will be listed to keep this list comprehensive.

COD4 does in fact support eyefinity. Even without any FOV tweaks.

It just stretches any aspect ratio wider than 16:9

Portrait eyefinity would work perfectly.

Perhaps I should be more specific in that the only mode I personally tested was 3x1L 1080. Thank you for your time and consideration though.

It always jumps from 11.2 to 11.4

The ones that are confirmed with driver versions listed are the games that I personally tested and confirmed. I didnt use 11.3, instead favoring the 11.4 preview.

But where do you draw the line between "works" and "doesn't work"

What if the image is stretched? Kinda works. What if you need a FOV tweak? Kinda works. What if the HUD is on the side monitors? Kinda works. You need to make this thing more specific.

IMO, any game that is fixable with a FOV tweak does work in eyefinity. And that is just what can be done to COD4.

And I do remember seeing a bunch of pictures of people playing in eyefinity in mirrors edge. I'm curious. Does it not list the resolution? Does it create black space on the side monitors? Does it stretch the thing? What does ME do that doesn't work in eyefinity?

Okay to be clear, any game that allows the config file or a native configuration to be tweaked in order to be made compatible or the game supports eyefinity within the in-game options I consider as a yes, as for placement of the HUD, I play most of my games with it off to begin with as I find it distracting so HUD placement comes down to preference. Games that require a third-party fix, or non-native executable I list as a no. As for mirror's edge, the game was unplayable for me, as the screen stretched to the point that I could not see which options to pick. I thank you guys for your time, but please try to have a little respect for a work in progress. My work is free and I gain nothing but the satisfaction of helping, so please keep that in mind. If you want to contribute in a concise manner then by all means please do.

I never said your work was bad. You've put amazing effort into it. I respect that.

Mirrors edge had stretching? Was it just on the side monitors? If so, it WORKS. Why? Because that's the way FOV works, and has nothing to do with eyefinity. Just because someone doesn't find the high FOV comfortable doesn't mean that it don't be working.

Oh well. Good job here.

No it did show on all the screens but the title screen and every screen in the options were everywhere, there was no scaling and it would be hard for someone of below average tech savvy to even start the game. Also I am familiar with the side screen stretch, and yes my bezels are compensated for. If you notice I posted the widescreen fix location not five seconds ago on mirror's edge. It requires a third-party download to be made compatible, so it's a no in that regard. A shame really as I love the game itself.

edit...

SO can anyone throw me a bone and tell me why my google spreadsheet wont embed? I followed the instructions, but it doesnt appear to have worked.

You could always make the options "Yes" "no" and "3rd party fix"

Would be more accurate. And would suit everyone.

I understand what your saying and the list is dynamic so that suggestion could very well be implemented. Thanks for your time.

Huh. I always thought MW2 was a game that natively worked on eyefinity. It doesn't? I've never played it but that's what I heard.

Needs a widescreen fixer for aspect ratio correction...

Favourite eyefinity game atm is shift 2 unleashed =)

dissapointed home front and bullet storm arent native eyefinity .

That is very disappointing indeed... I'm working to cross-reference the majority of AMD certified eyefinity games on their list so that I can add them to mine with a referenced driver and status, depending on if I can find them on steam and test them.
