Hey guys , specs are below

rig has been rock solid stable at those settings for about 6 months , vcore is @ 1.3v in bios

anyways , today , 3 times , wile playing counter strike , the game would crash to desktop with a sound loop , and about 5 seconds after that , the computer would turn off completely (note : when it crashes the pc is still working fine it does not freeze atall)

If i try turn the pc back on , it will not turn back on and i will need to disconect the power to get it to bootup after that.

testing again now on P95 , 30 min stable.....

I dont think its my oc , got it under water max load temps are 55c...............soo not sure?

thanks

Are you sure its not your PSU? Check your connections.
My suggestion is that PSU is not working correctly, check the power cords.
Yeah check the connections from the PSU to the motherboard, if your P4 plug is in there incorrectly you could run into problems.
but the game always crashes first , that why i think it is software?

its been working fine for like 6 months......

what is the P4 plug? the big like 20 pin from the PSU to MB?

It's a 8-pin.

Possible overheating? Run a prime95 and memtest86.

Can you run memtest completely? How about the 24-pin, which is connected to the motherboard.

24 pin is fine , 8 pin is fine!

memtest is fine!...

I have upped the voltage on the cpu.........but i have a slight feeling it is the sound card crashing , their is a sound loop before it switches off....
