My loop has been up maybe 6-7 months. I just noticed the motor acting funny upon start up but once it's running it seems fine. I've had it set at 35% since the first week it was up. Should I be concerned about the pump? And is it time to change out the water in the loop?

"Motor acting funny" is pretty vague. What's going on with it?

When the computer starts the motor starts, normally. Lately it's been "lagging" briefly to a few seconds before it starts up. I changed the 4 pin molex wire, and location of where the modular cable plugs into the PSU and it's still acting up as I described. Is that a sign of the motor dying? I've since bumped up the speed to hear it running to 40%

What kind of pump is it? 6 months is nothing for most of the major pumps that people use now. It might be worth tearing the system apart to make sure you don't have anything in it.

It's a combination Rad/Pump/Res MCR 320 Rev 3.0 - the pump that came with it.
