As I am sure you have noticed, we have started to make a few changes to the forum. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions:

Have the upgrades been completed?
- No. We are still in the process of updating the entire site.

I hate that the forum is narrower than it was. What's up?
- We have not yet completed the upgrade that will allow users to choose between fixed width (the way it currently is) and relative width (the way it was). This is a top priority and will happen very soon.

The FAQ section is strange! It's not categorized and other weird things are happening. Again, what are you guys up to?
- It will take up to 2 weeks to fully upgrade the FAQ section. But it will be back soon!

The fonts are the wrong color.
- We are in the process of correcting all font colors.

I can't upload an image signature.
- We have never allowed image signatures here. Sorry for the inconvenience. This option will be removed from the usercp.

The Discussions block is bigger than the News block.
- We will fix it shortly

The Latest Discussions block no longer shows the time/poster.
- Three options here: (1) mouseover the title for that info (2) Click on Latest Discussions for a more detailed list or (3) wait just a bit until we decide about making that area wider so we can add some of that info back

I can't update my system specs.
- Working on it

More to come...

Question: Are we allowed to post comments on our own FAQ's anymore?

because I can't, are there new rules now?
Great work, admin! Everything looks cool, can't wait for relative width, though!

Also, I don't think the signature picture feature is working. I tried uploading a picture 200x40 at 12KB and it told me it was unable to. I don't know if you know already (not mentioned in this thread) but just bringing it up.

Keep it up, we all love you!

I can't upload an image signature.
- We have never allowed image signatures here. Sorry for the inconvenience. This option will be removed from the usercp.

Heh... I noticed that was in my User CP and I thought it was a new feature you guys were allowing or something, and I tried it and it didn't work haha.

Also, waiting to upgrade sys specs to update my mouse to display my new G5 mouse

Looks great though. It'll be better though when we can change the width to the relative width of the window though

Lookin' good though admin, keep it up!

Im glad we dont have the image sigs... personally i hate them... the clutter the pages and take up way to mcuh space. I geuss it would be soo bad if it had a limited small size. But most forums ive been to it just look all cluttered and crappy from allt he big sig pics....

Lol, when I logged on just now and saw that jackolantern by the OCN logo I thought this new look was a Halloween prank or something but I'm glad to see you guys are working on the only 2 things that really bugged me, the wrong font colors and the fixed width which looks really bad on my monitor, it's like only half of my screen. I was glad to see the easier repping in place on Carforum.net and I'm glad to see it here too, it was a great idea. Keep up the good work.
