Um... the 5770 runs just fine on a 128bit interface and hits up with a 4870 just fine. Don't judge a card on its memory width alone. Read some reviews and see what your up against before you make a decision. That is how I settled on 2 5770s.

Also we need your specs of your system!

If you want something that will hold out for a while, grab a 5850 or something, but your system needs to have at least a quad for that to NOT bottleneck.

I haven't read anything, I'm in school and in a rush. But I would want to know more about your PSU.

I went from 8800 SLI to 5970.

If I was you, with that power supply of 500W I'd stick with a 5770 especially if your monitor is below 1900x1200 as a 5970 would not be utilized to it's full potential.

For that price, GTX460. Hands down. Assuming prices are similar to the US.

Id honestly go for the nvid 460 right now. It's a little more expensive than the 5770 but performs better, right now its the price/performance for sure. It also doesn't take very much power (neither do the 5770s) so if you're just getting a single card your current PSU should be ok to run either of them.

The 450 is not as fast as 5770,and the drivers work fine.Mainly ATi crossfire have had issues. You can find good deals on a 768mb 460,that's probably the better deal right now. That card outperforms the 5770
ASUS Direct CU 460$179. shipped
The 1 Gb is better, probably worth the extra $45.
If you plan on overclocking-the Asus and MSI are best because of voltage controls.
