So for the past few years I have been building my current system. I don't want to call it finished because it will always be an evolving build in progress but I am looking for some ideas on how I can get a performance boost/ part upgrade.

you can see it here http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=31773

I haven't overclocked either the graphics or the cpu which I probably can but with some advice.

You could always upgrade your GPU to either a 7870 or 7950. Other than that, I don't really see a reason to upgrade your mobo/ CPU until Haswell launches.

would definitely go for a newer VGA Card. May be a Hd 7970 or GTX 680 (if you have budget for it) or to HD 7870 or GTX 660ti

No. If you can OC the 7950, the performance increase out weighs the $100. Don't waste that.

I disagree with this since I have no problems at all with mine.

I will say that if you want to overclock the GPU, then get something else. From what I have been reading, most people prefer a reference card for overclocking.

EDIT: Cool thing about the AMD cards right now is the free games with a purchase!

Try these instead

6GB VRAM is OVERKILL

For a simple upgrade, go with his second choice, the Sapphire Flex Edition 7950.

or if you don't want the games, yet a cheaper price, go with the newer version of the Flex Card,

EDIT: I noticed you don't have any SSDs in RAID. If you want a huge boost in loading times of your OS / Programs / Apps, get a caching SSD, or, buy enough ram for RAMDisk, or get enough SSDs for a Raid 0/1/10 approach.
