I am in the need for a new processor and i want a quad. Should i get a Q9550. Money is a bit tight. im at $0 after i sell my 2GB of memory and my high overclocking E6600 forl ike 125 - 145 on ebay then ill be closer. But should i get a Q9550. If i can Bust out a few more bucks i might get a Q9650

Q9550 over the Q9650, both get great overclocks just make sure you get a E0 stepping.

That or the spec number on the box sticker. I never heard or experienced the box sticker lying.

Just get Q9650, anything over 4.0 with Q9550 is a lot more luck and hard work then with Q9650.
