I am thinking of upgrading my old system which I built seven years ago,
1. 3930k processor.
2. Asus X79pro mobo.
3. GTX 660ti video card in sli.
4. 32gb of ram.

Moving to Intel 7920x, Asus rog strix mobo, 32gb of ram, Gtx 1070ti video card. Would to know pro's and cons benefits or just plain not worth it. Yes I know this is cpu discussion but would like all input. Thank you.

Hi,
A 8700k system you'd be able to get a better video card with the savings from skylake-x :)

For mostly graphics I would go to the AMD TR cpu's as they're coming down a lot in price right now and get a 1070ti on sale. Add 32gb of the Ram of your choice and all of that on the X399 Taichi and you have a very nice build with lots of NVME options.
