hi guys i recently built a new pc with a ryzen 5 2600 on a asus prime 470 pro motherboard using a corsair h100 aio watercooler i recently noticed the price of 1700 1700x and 1800x have come down would it be worth me to sell the ryzen 5 2600 and buy a 1700 or 1800x currently been able to overclock the system to 4.3ghz stable but that was only for testing been running stock settings normally thing is what is the ryzen 5 2600 worth secondhand in uk £ or euros?

I'd keep what you have , especially if you are using it for gaming.

Yep -- higher speed works better with gaming. Keep the 2600.

Adding two cores and four threads is unlikely to make a world of difference. Wait for Zen 2 to drop next year before seriously considering an upgrade. I personally don't think you should entertain a CPU upgrade until probably Zen 3. It depends on what performance gains Zen 2 delivers.
