I live in india and the cards work out to be about $302(palit) vs $285(powercolor) respectively in the indian market.
Both 1gig mem.
Also how is the hd5770 compared to these two?
I wanna play warhead, world in conflict, MW2 and such in atleast high settings. Btw screen res.-1440x900.
Thanks alot

Plus-im gonna upgrade to q9550.....

A 5770 performs like a 4870, so it's about 10fps in difference in alot of games.
Personally, I would go with a 5770 if you have the option, it has DirectX11

I would go with the GTX275 since it has PhysX and also it performs better and heck for 20 bucks that's a sweet deal considering you don't have a second slot to worry about.
I vote 4890 since stock vs. stock the 4890/275 are very close, however once you start to overclock the 4890 can take a big lead due to the large overclocking potential. IMO, the 5770 is a waste of money since its about as fast as a 4870 and will be too slow for DX11 games. Transition cards rarely do well, and the 5770 is one of those transition cards.
thanks everyone for their help
4890 is the best bang for buck on the market now.

The GTX 275 is not a better card, and I've had first-hand experience since my friend owns a rig similar to mine except with a GTX 275. Go for the 4890, you won't regret it.
