Second, was your chip an AM2 or 939 chip? The easy way to answer that is are you using DDR or DDR2 RAM? Honestly though, we really need your motherboard to see what's a great upgrade option for ya. Those chips are nice but you could get a better one if you're motherboard's bios supports them.
