Is it worth it? I Am asking because i am building a new i7 gaming system and would like to know what you guys think. I have had no issues with Vista Ultimate x64 for the past year that i have been using it. Money is not the issue.
I Am aware that 7 performs better than Vista but i hear that it still has plenty of compatibility issues with some games. So, what say ye?

I've been using Windows 7 since I installed the RC in Aug '09 and I've had no problems what so ever

All my games have run flawlessly and when I upgraded to W7 Pro 64bit I've never looked back. Would never use XP or vista again. If money isn't an issue I'd go for Windows 7

I went from vista X64 to 7 X64 and I will never look back...Games are not an issue, if so just right click the .exe and select compatibility mode.

i went from vista 64 to W7 64 and i loved it lol, just make sure to clean install and dont upgrade lol made that mistake and didnt clean install and had a bunch of crap left over lol but its definitely worth it imo

I love it, I still use xp in a virtual machine
