Deciding between 2 mobos
Okey 2 mobo is in my mind eliminated others

first : GIGABYTE EX58-UD5, X58, DDR3, 3x PCIExp, Socket 1366, SLI & CrossFire
second : ASUS P6T-SE, X58, DDR3, 3x PCIExp, Socket 1366, CrossFire ,SLI( has a small heatsink and not connected with SB like deluxe edition )

they are both in the same price range in Turkey, they both support sli and crossfire my concern about gigabyte is about capacitors were really cheap (old p35 ones) dont have any idea about x58`s which one would you choose ? thank you all

I personally love my EVGA x58 SLI LE.

I got it for $200 about a week ago. Great board.

I'm thinking of getting that board too. But I don't know if a 5970 would fit in it.

ASUS P6T is what I have, first ASUS board and cant complain. Everything works great, overclocking is a breeze too. It has a nice layout, very easy to work with in my antec p180. It will easily accommodate a monster card. I got it for a steal, 175$ new, but I was also looking at the ASRock X58 board on Newegg that was about 150$, seems to get nothing but praise.

Depending on the features and budget, this two boards are pretty good.

Why would a 5970 not fit in it? It's got standard PCI-Express x16 slots. Your concern should be with your case, not with the motherboard.

Take the UD5, I was told to stay away from the P6T-SE.

And since they are both the same price, I would get the UD5 personally too, since the P6T is 70-80 less than it here in the states.

The Gigabyte board is superior if you can get it as much as an Asus P6T-SE. I have an Asus board and love it, nothing wrong, but the Gigabyte board is just better for the price of a P6T-SE.

The Gigabyte is a little better for the money, but the P6T boards are always nice.
