Hello guys, i just bought a hd6990 yesterday .
I installed the newest driver and also tweaked it to 920mhz/1400mhz with o.c bios.

The thing is that i found out on google and on this site ppl are getting about 90-100 fps outside and 100+ fps inside in bf3 beta with all on ultra and in 1080p resolution.

But mine only has 68 avg fps outside and 90 fps inside areas using fraps recording .
I have everything on ultra as well as AF AND AA to the max and HABO on.

I also didn't have the vnysc thing on either.

When i do 3d mark and vantage or heaven , all score seem fair.

What fps are u guys getting with one hd6990?

I am thinking if my card is defective or some ppl are exaggerating their performance.

My rig is : 2500k @ 4.4g corsair 850w psu ASrock extreme4 gen 3 board 2x4g gskill 1600 ram.

This is one of the guys who owned 2x6970 from this forum and he is having a lot better performance than me even though sometimes 2 6970 performs a lil better than 1 6990, but he has like 30 fps more than what i have. That is a lot.

I have 1 more question, my clock in ccc is 940 but in afterburner it shows 880mhz, i check gpuz i do have 940mhz,do u know what is wrong w/ it?

Look just above your post, the bro named porky he has a 6970 CF and he is getting very nice fps comparing to mine , and he said he has everything maxed out and he also has a 24" monitor which is 1080p probably .

Yes, like i said, 3d mark11 shows about the right range of number i am suppose to get. And i see ppl getting 20-30 more fps in similar rig than wat i am getting -_-. Because i have a 15 dayz direct replacement, that is why i want to figure out the questino kinda urgently.

Man we have very similar rigs, i found ur driver and the cap1 too.
I am just wondering for the cap1, it is an exe file, do i just need to install it and it will automatically apply into games?

Also after i update my drivers, will the cap1 been overwritten or deleted or it will still be there until i update a newer cap ?

i have never ever get 100+ fps with ultra and AA HABO On etc to the max in 1080p . i am getting around 70 fps avg outside .
