You can use the Nokia N900 as a Wireless Router to send a WiFi signal to your laptop... When out and about.
I was paying £20 a month for a O2 internet Dongle with a 3GB download limit. I have changed my place of work and the download speed here is shocking
so cancelled my contract.
However i now have a N900 that cost £5 a month for unlimited internet. So i found this app called Joikuspot and it turns my phone into a router meaning i can bounce the O2 internet signal from my phone to my laptop for a 4th of the price! This app seems to work great, only problem i have found is when i got a phone call it cut the internet to my laptop but as soon as i hung up it auto connected. Also massive power consumption!!!
Bit of info
