So in my current setup, I have 2 GTS 250's in SLI...
Basically, I know some people who have higher end GPUs (GTX 285) will buy a GTS 250 and use it solely as the PhysX processor... but I've never seen/heard of anyone doing it with anything lower than a 250... so my question is, can I do it with a 210 or 220 (or any other card that supports PhysX)?
Also, how do you set it up to be only the PhysX card, and do you need to bridge it with my other card(s) to get it to work, or does it just sit on the board...
Also, is there a huge advantage to using a card for PhysX, or is it just a waste of money... I figure with basically every new game coming out supporting PhysX, it's worth the money and the time...
My Physx card is an 8800gts. There is a benefit for games that use physx, and if you have the money, theres no real reason not to. Some people say physx will die off, and it may be true, but I think you will get your moneys worth.
Also, you can fold on it as well, if your into that.
yeah, money wise its not a huge issue... I work @ Best Buy, so I can get a GTS 220 for like 40 bucks... and I figured why the hell not for the price...
so do I have to use an SLI bridge, and how do I set it up? Is that just an option in the NVIDIA control panel or something?

GT 220 supports PhysX but 210 does not. PhysX requires a minimum of 32 cores and the 210 only has 16 while the GT 220 has 48.
