Hi all,

Im trying to use a BAT file to change the desktop wallpaper on my windows 7 machine. We do this at work so we know what account we are working on, the BAT file also moves various files around for us. It works perfectly on XP and I have sort of got it working on windows 7. However its really inconsistent. Sometimes it will change the wallpaper 1 in 10 attempts, sometimes it will change it 6 or 7 times in a row, and then suddenly it stops working.

Code:

Code:
del C:\Users\Public\ReadSoft\INVOICES\eilocal.ini
copy c:\inifiles\FSS\eilocal.ini C:\Users\Public\ReadSoft\INVOICES

REG ADD "HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop" /v Wallpaper /t REG_SZ /d C:\inifiles\FSS\FSS_Wallpaper.bmp /f

RUNDLL32.EXE user32.dll,UpdatePerUserSystemParameters

EXIT
I have tried googling the problem, and every thread I can find seems to suggest the exact commands im using, but I cant get them to work consistently.

The pc is running windows 7 pro, SP1.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
