Hey guys,
I was just on my PC.. and I opened it up and took out my ubuntu hard drive, and plugged in my media hard drive. I then went to boot - No power seemed to be coming through, so I check if it was all plugged in correctly, and it seemed fine so I tried again - nothing. I then though maybe my PSU is dud, so I tried the one from my server, still nothing happened and my PC does not turn on..
It's probably not a lot of info, but could someone help out.. I have a project I need to take my PC tomorrow so it's urgent >.<
lol unless you static-shocked something inside your pc when you were mess around, i doubt anything broke/died. My money is on that one of the cables isn't completley seated... either in the media hdd or you accidently bumped another component. Double and triple check EVERY connection
Also, try a cmos reset... a pita, especialy if you have custom settings, but a good idea if everything else checks out
ooooh.. nevermind guys. one of the cables came out of the mobo where you put them in for the power switch, LED, ect, and was hiding under the board.. my bad. Thanks
