* Players who are stunned by a Scout now take 50% less damage
* Increased the minimum distance to stun a player with the Sandman

* Fixed client crash in when creating muzzle flash effects
* Fixed client crash when determining which disguise weapon to use for a spy

Good, they're beginning to nerf the Sandman.
Awesome, bring on more updates Valve.

Hopefully l4d won't sick ad much for servers.
i never found the sandman to be overpowered at all. i mean, it takes away double jump so the scout is at a major disadvantage compared to his nonsandman brethren
Ugh, takes a while for my provider to get the update.zip for l4d -.-

I want to play and try these out!!!

Force-A-Nature needs a nerf, it's overpowered up the butt.
Whatever happened to that multi-core optimization update promised for TF2?
Still waiting on them to decide if they want the demoman to be short or long range. I die 5x faster in front of a good demoman than a good pyro, and a good pyro has nothing on me from a distance whereas a demo can make me look silly.
IMO the sandman isnt OP, it would be like saying ZOMG THE HUNTAH IS OP CAUSE HE POUNCES ME AND I CANT FIGHT BACK!!! Your Team Should always be there for you and cover you in your state of recovery. but just like the hunter, its extremely annoying in numbers, maybe what makes it a little op is that it works on ubers... that kinda makes the uber useless.

I havn't really noticed any difference playing with the sandman.
Noticed this update this morning when playing. Good for people who want servers that aren't modified at all. I usually host my server locally and I have been getting 5ms ping with my friend pm the same network.
I havn't seen update files nor an option for the L4D lobby leaderness thing.

What the heck?
I'm glad they nerfed the sandman. Though i mainly play as scout, I don't even use any of the new weapons LOL. I prefer the original weapons.

so they made a crappy weapon with a high learning curve even crappier? might as well take out sandman completely. i use sandman a lot for fun when im a scout but find out it generally sucks even though i am fairly proficient at aiming the bat.
