Ran it again and it still claims I'm overclocking. All GPU and Proc settings are default, and I'm using the approved 9.1 Cataylst drivers.

GPU Clock: 500Mhz

Memory Clock: 900Mhz

CPU: 3.1Ghz

ALL STOCK!

Is this a bug in the Vantage software?

I'm a little confused about your question. Where does it say overclocked? And the stock GPU clock of the 4870 is around 700mhz not 500mhz.

Device manager has it running the old driver (8/9/2008), but I'm running 9.1 Catalyst. For some damn reason it's refusing to load the Jan 2009 driver. Already installed 9.1 twice, and Vista keeps reverting it back to the default.

Any work around to get it to "stick" to the 9.1 driver?

Ah, now I remember: how do you get Vista to STOP reverting drivers to IT'S defaults?

When you uninstalled the drivers did you remember to run driver sweeper?
