if i leave my vcore at 1.42 all the time, how much will it harm my CPU?

it wont at all, as most motherboard push 1.4vcore through as stock

Eh. With my venice a while ago I ran 1.67 24/7 until I accidently tore off a transistor trying to remove ihs <img src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)" class="inlineimg" /> never went over 40C (2.9ghz)

Well its can be very benificial (I've seen up to a 15C loss in load temps before) But its kinda risky too do. Thats why most just lap it.
