From the reviews I've seen I think it is currently one of, if not the best, ssd's on the market ATM. Can't really go wrong, but I'm not sure how it's going to run on Sata (II) 3Gbps.

I'd imagine a really good sata controller might be better than integrated ones. I think the X58 sata 3 ports aren't as good as the new P67. But, any difference would only be noticed in synthetic benches. In real world testing there shouldn't be much of a difference.

Remember that AS SSD is a "wost case scenario" whilst ATTO is a "best case scenario". In real life use, the numbers in read and write that you get are 70% to 80% of the ATTO benchmarks (OCZ use ATTO to advertise their drives' speeds). OCZ reported as much on their forums and there are many users on there also stating the same.
