hey guys,
i am realy eager to order a case but just need to brush a few things up if you could help that would be brill

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811125444
This case states it has four 5.25 external drive bays.. so i take it that just means 4 slots to put my CD RW's and DVD RW's and DVD players ets?
It also states that it has two 3.5 external drive bays wich i take means floppy drive slots..okkk who in there right mind would want two floppy drives?? isn't one enough.. but fair enough two but then it says there is a futher four!!!! internal drive bays and i hope that it isn't more floppy drive slots..mhh na it can't be.. must be slots to place your hard drive? right? if so then 4 is nice, plenty of room
. then it says 7 expansion slots, well i am not going to gues these becasue im not actually sure! sorry for these noob questions!! its just i don't want to pick a bad case, im looking for a case that will hold a socket 939 motherboard with enough room for nice cooling and a few HDD slots
anyway, i would be very thankfull if somebody was to help me out
thanks a lot

The "floppy bay" slots can be used for hard drives, fan controllers, etc.

7 expansion slots refers to PCI slots I think, at least thats what I gather from the pictures newegg has on file.

The 4 extra slots below the floppy bay is also for more hard drives, or water pump
or things like that.

The case has a ton of room.

Server case is a myth in my oppinion. Most servers are rack mount. Tower servers are usually from the old days. Full tower would be the appropriate term for four+ 5.25 bays or more. As X said you got plenty of room. Plus if you start overclocking and sleep in the same room as your computer your going to want that 4way fancontroller to turn the volume down at night

I have case that very similar to that.I believe thats a mid case, mine is a full tower. Mine has 6 5.25 in front 2 3.25 in front, inside i have 2 cages that will hold 6 3.25 drives. Has 3 fans in front 2 in the back I payed 46.00 SHIPPED from Tigerdirrect 8month ago, it was a steal it has ALOT of room. these kind of cases are great, the only reasion i'll get rid of this case is if i get bord with it. I have blk dvd drives so i painted the front drive bays blk, looks cool.

The only suggestion i would make would be to find a case that is primarily based on 120mm fans. Coolermaster has a number of models (so do antec and thermaltake). Also, a case where the front intake fans have a mesh cover of some sort would help air intake. Otherwise the front fan is just pushing warm air from the hdd onto the other components.

Take a look a what I mean on my two cases. The silver antec P160W has a a silver mesh covering a 120mm input and a 120mm output fan. Its also aluminum and very quiet. My armor is a beast with 5 120mm and 2 90mm fans (I have the 90's on fan controllers to quiet them down to 120mm levels)
