Guys,
Here is my Problem. I've been fixing this for 1 week now.
Suddenly My PC Starts to show some strange behavior.
It's LAGS and LAGS everytime the PC gots stress or many Applications are open
My first example is i open my Musicmatch and PSCS3
as i open the File browser on CS3 the LAG begins
as iam listening to Musicmatch the sound is slowly distorting together with the mice, not only with this programs.
As i run a Virus scan using Mcafee on one of my 160GB WD SATA where my Music Library is on the same location. The sound distorting shows again with my Razer Krait LAGS also.

Here what i've done to lately to fix this issue
- Detached the Soundcard and switch to On-board (latest drivers)
- Reinstall Forceware to the latest
- Reinstall Razer Krait driver to the latest
- Reinstall Musicmatch, Nero, Some more apps connected with codecs
- Scanned all files for Virus - NONE is detected
- Checkdisk all of my 4HD's
- Defrag all of my 4HD's
- Re-Load BIOS Default settings
- Cables re-plug (all checked)

Kindly help me as this LAG, cant make me work smoothly.

I'm thinking if this a PSU problem as am using a Generic 400W, bundle with an ATX Casing.

Regards

Well, to be honest with you: NEVER use a generic PSU!! I have had VERY bad experiences with generic PSUs!

Have you tried reinstalling windows? My computer tech friend once told me that you should reformat every 3 months or(in his words)..."Windows will barf on ya." lol

I'd definitly get a better PSU and I'd also try reformatting!

So, Meaning to say even if i compute my overall Wattage via Extreme Calculator,
its not that Accurate if i use a Generic PSU?

If i change a PSU would it solved the LAG?

Ever sinced i bought this Razer Krait, USB Powered
the System is now Unstable.
Is Razer Power Hungry?

Reformatting OS would be my last option,
As programming back all of my Graphic Applications really takes time, even a day.

Thanks for any help

Those are Load Temps, On Idle Temps they dropped on 5C's
Yes, it makes me Stupid Really. I'm out of Solutions that my last 2 Things to consider are PSU and Reformat OS. But i'd like to hear opinions before i jump to conclusion.
Task Manager seems well, i monitor almost everyday to check my processes.
I'll Post my Screenshots later.

1 Thing i notice before i left, (SCANNED using Mcafee)
Is that when i SCAN my other 3HD's (while playing MP3's)
There's slight distort on sound, just slight
Now my 4th SATA with 160GB (with all of my MP3's on it)
Then SCAN, the distort begins
Why is that?

Thanks.

Windows Installation (Checked - 3 months)
Unplug hardware, Almost all out of 10
Specially those Self powered and BT (Checked - still failed)

Is Razer got to do something with it? Havent check on replacing Razer.

Thanks.

Are you using the Razer drivers, have you tried generic drivers?

You mentioned this started happening after you got your Krait.
Visit www.razerzone.com and make sure to get the latest drivers and flash the mouse's firmware (if it has memory, I didn't check)

Try vacuuming the inside of your PC and cleaning the filters - computers can get slow, start crashing and BSODing if they get too hot, even without overclocking. (in my case, this P4 would go from 40c to 120c in under 5 minutes just idling in the BIOS screen, and then it'd shut off :E)

As for the required wattage for your stuff, you can get an estimate from http://www.extreme.outervision.com/p...ulatorlite.jsp

Don't buy or do anything with your hardware before updating the drivers and vacuuming.

Bout Razer i got i for 2 weeks
1st week v.1.02 driver - went ok
2nd week v.1.04 driver - attemped to update due to bug fixes
a day or two, this LAG comes..
I un-installed that driver (to get the generic driver)
Still the same, one thing i notice is this KRAIT gets hot unlike the first week i bought it.. is that normal? you could feel it in your palm that something is warm.. like someone with a mid to high fever. Later i'll replace it with my old PS2 mouse and see how it goes.

Thanks to all

Hi guys,
i figured out the problem now
It's an OS issue.
At first there are only 2 ide's when i first install the OS.
Then after 1 month i bought the 2 sata's
And notice i had a safely remove for those 2 sata's
I thought thats weird 'coz my board doesnt support hot plug for the sata
I just ignored it.. then after that the problem comes after using my PC with that setting for 3 months..

Now reformatted it, and all is fine now.
Also bought a new PSU with 32A on +3V

Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I also notice the Safely Remove SATA is not visible now.
I hope that would be the end of this.

Also bought a new PSU with 32A on +3V
It's HEC 550UB with Blue Led and 120mm fan
Cabled Sleeved, Black painted. worth the money.
