(WebMD) Playing video games may mean spending less time reading or doing homework, according to new research on video games and children.

That news appears in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine...

That reminds me, I should be writing an essay right now...

(OK, I already have my degree, but I don't know how many times I've caught myself saying that because I was surfing on the internet...)

They paid someone money to do "research" on such an obvious topic? This is further proves how far south we are headed...

Why, just the other day i cut a seedless watermelon that had a sticker that said, "WARNING: May contain an occasional seed." Utterly, utterly pathetic.
WOAH WOAH WOAH, BACK UP THERE BUDDY BOY! You mean...I could get distracted by a video game? AW MAN! *reformats E drive* There, no more problem...DAMN IT *opens up utorrent*
ya, so and your point is?, homeworks meant to be done on the bus or in the three minutes before class

i hate to break it to you, but even though something is obvious you've got to do a study or an experiment, which you can repeat for it to be scientific or be submitted.

can we go to court and offer this statement: "now when did you figure this out captain obvious?"
I played a min. of 4 hours of WoW in school and I still passed. I think video games teach kids a valuable lesson of multitasking.

They also teach very good hand-eye coordination!
I dont see how these firms spend all this tax payers money to tell us what we already know.

Really drives me mad, especially when this money could be spent on better thing like Skate Parks lol
