Visa, Laptops, and sleep...

Any particular reason vista chooses to hang when going into sleep or take forever to come out of sleep for laptops? It's quite annoying...

I thought it was about buying a laptop with a VISA card. LOL.

are you using sleep or hibernate, my laptop went to hibernate unless i specified sleep.

Mine takes a long time because i have 4 gig of ram and it takes forever for the ram to write to the hdd

if it is sleep, don't have any other ideas.

i also experience that.. after sleep it doesnt come back, it just hangs. well maybe coz it always sleep and never shut down, ever. and sometimes when i shut it down and turn it back on i get the error "windows shut down unexpectedly".. quite annoying.

I've all but abandoned doing sleep in vista/win7, I just use hibernate now, but I'm going to downgrade to TinyXP come weds when I get my external cd drive anyways.
