I ordered my x64 disc will I be able to just upgrade via the disk if not... I partitioned my drive so windows is only on one section if I delete just the C drive can i just install it on that as a clean install and I will not lose my other partitions or data?

I am a bit confused. No, you can't upgrade. it is a complete install that is required. As far as the second part, you can create another parition and install on that, but you would then be dual booting. (as in you will be priompted as to which OS to load after POST)

I would just back-up any files you want to safe and do a fresh install as I see no reason to dual boot 32 and 64bit of the same OS.
Sorry for the confusion Currently i have a C: and a E: on the same HD If i just delete the Boot drive C: and then did a clean install on that will that work and will i still have all my data on the E:

Thanks I hope this makes more sense...
No, I think you would just install the new 64 bit to the C drive partion. So when you do that, you will still have all your data on E:. So yes.

You could just boot from disk and tell it to install to partition C:. The E: partition will be untouched. Just make sure to move everything you want to save from C: to E:.
