Vista Business Any Good?

I found out yesterday that I can get a free burned copy and 1 license key to Vista Business through my school where I'm taking my CCNA course. Would it be worth using over my Vista Home Premium? I was thinking it might just be worth having around.

i have it and love it! i dont know the benefits of moving to it from Home Premium, but if you need a 64 bit instead of 32 bit id move up! Its got amazing security!

Home Premium is a step above Business since Business has a few less features than Home Premium. I got Home Premium on my lappy and Business on my desktop (will when it's up and running anyway).

Business 64bit is awesome btw.

I use business at work and Home premium at home. I don't notice a difference when using them. i think the biggest difference is that business doesn't have media center built in. Business also has a few extra data backup/managment programs. I would get a copy of it while you can for cheap but I wouldn't personally choose it over home premium.

Also check the link in my sig for more differences (its in the 32v64 bit thread)

they are largely similar, but the comment above is incorrect as business is simply for businesses and home premium is for home users, and so the featuresets for both are tailored differently

it'd be worth having that spare copy of Business around in case you have a new mobo

I wish my school had this. I have no vista right now.

Business has greater security features. Premium has multi media features. Depends what you use. I don't use the built in features on my Premium so to me 64 might be nice.

Considering this is free of course you should get and try, nothing to lose. If it is a retail or business license that lets you change from system to system even more bonus.
Iceblade is correct. The business has a few other features that detect hardware failure and have some nice remote desktop options, but doesn't have the media center options that HP has. I personally don't use any of the Windows media center stuff so it was a no brainer for me to go the business route.

just check out the link that blade posted and choose which ever is better for you. and it never hurts to have an extra key

Okay, thanks everyone. Looks like I might just get it to have around, but doesn't really seem like I'll need it for anything in particular. Probably get a copy of XP too.
