Ahhahahahahhhahhha--cough--splutter (Does Bill Gates?)

Unfortunately Vista has once again been delayed--although claims for a Q3 2006 release are still being defended, no product islikely to be on the shelves this year--Vista will likely be bundled with proprietart new builds by PC Mfrs and may be available through certain online vendors in an O.E.M version, but even this has flip-flopped back and forth.

Form what I've read and hear, Vista is going to make the Windows Computing Experience even more annoying, with more restrictions regarding hardware and less compatibility with nonMS software. Typical, really, as Gates masterplan would be for us to not even own the SW we use, but purchase it online as a service for a monthly fee like cable...

I talked to a Microsoft Rep yesterday and the delay is the new Works software. They are going to release it first and are having delays with that, which is delaying Vista also.
