Looks like Vista's SP1 is coming a lot sooner than expected since Mary Jo Foley's reports that a Vista SP1 beta may already be tested among Microsoft's beta testing members around the globe thus we may be seeing SP1 at around November, or as vaguely described by Microsoft PR "sometime this year".

Great! Although there really aren't as many problems as Vista as people think there are / could of been.

Vista is nearly perfect for me - Maybe SP1 will increase load up times

Do we have a features list yet?

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 will include performance tweaks for faster files copying and shut down operation.

The Vista’s SP1 will also bring improved transfer performance and decreased CPU utilization via support for SD Advanced Direct Memory Access (DMA)

Support for ExFat Windows file format for flash memory and other consumer devices

Improvements to BitLocker Drive Encryption

The ability to boot Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) on an x64 machine

Improve success rate for firewalled MeetingSpace and Remote Assistance connections.

All I care about out of those is the performance tweaks

Both run fine on Vista. BF2142 occassionally crashes system though. This is the game's fault with poor coding. A memory error or leak should not force the OS to reboot. It happens in XP as well.

You have to give the program admin privlages (so PB doesn't kick you), but other than that, BF2142 works great!

(the above is SIMPLE to do)

Wow. Seems there's a lot more praise for Vista 7 months after it's been out then there was before.

Anything Apple is a related issue with vista.

Thats because people who had never even seen in person or used the OS ranted about it being terrible, without actually using it and realising it's a bloody great OS and has very little problems compared to most other OS's at the beginning.
