Remove your ram sticks and place them in the other's sockets eg Stick 1 in socket 1, placed in socket 3, stick 3 in socket 3 place in socket 1... make sense?
Worth a shot.

Yeah makes sense, not sure if it will do any good but I'll add it to my list of things I gotta try.
I had another BSOD, posted this in the WP thread:
/start
Well.. since installing SP2 a few days ago I had been having a good run and I was secretly hoping that the issue had somehow resolved it's self.
I just got back from Uni, turned on the PC after it had been off for a few hours and was greeted by this lovely sight:
After I reset the PC I got a "Windows has recovered from an unexpected error" dialogue box pop up, which asked me to check for solutions, nothing was found though (surprise surprise).
Here's the details that I copied:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name:BlueScreen
OS Version:6.0.6002.2.2.0.256.1
Locale ID:3081
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode:a
BCP1:00009714
BCP2:00000002
BCP3:00000000
BCP4:822EE293
OS Version:6_0_6002
Service Pack:2_0
Product:256_1
Files that help describe the problem:
C:\\Windows\\Minidump\\Mini092309-01.dmp
C:\\Users\\User\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\WER-42401-0.sysdata.xml
C:\\Users\\User\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\WER3310.tmp .version.txt
I also copied the minidump into another folder that I am using to log this issue.
Meh.
I am going to try dropping back to 185 display driver drivers I think.
Then try returning the system to default clock settings.
Then try running on 2GB of matching RAM only.
Between each stage I will wait to see if it BSODs again, if it does I will try the next step. It's so annoying though as it is such an intermittent issue, the PC will be running like a dream for a week and then one day will just bluecreen.
