im probably gonna install vista over the weekend. i dont want to deal with the upgrade and i want 64-bit, but im glad to hear it worked out for you
god, i hate vista so much. it lags and takes forever to do simple tasks and change little settings. i had vista business installed but switched back to XP. the way i see it, if the machine can handle vista, XP will fly on it.

its a shame that halo 2 is only for vista.

For those who cannot decide :

I only recommend Vista for machines that play all games on XP on all max settings flawlessly.

I found Vista a very good OS once setup and drivers found

I even played a bit of BF2 and i coudln't tell the difference in frame rates from just playing it

However my Vista Partition screwed up somehow and i cant even boot into it, i know its not the OS i must of looked at some dogey pron sites lol.

BF2 /2142 will not be affected all in term of Framerates, I just experience freezes at random points when playing, it takes 2 minutes to close it by pressing combinations of ALT F4, Ctrl Esc, Ctrl Alt Del...
