Hey guys, really need some help here so I came to the MB section since nobody in CPU helped, which I assume is because it is not really a CPU issue, lol oops.
Anyway, In Speedfan, I am getting correct voltages ie +12v is 11.19 +5v is 5.21
But then I am getting -12v as 0.72 positive, and -5v as 2.09 positive. Shouldn't those be negative numbers?
What could be causing that? I assumed if there were voltage issues the board just wouldn't run.
Also, could this be contributing to the fact that my pc keeps shutting down and restarting when I get a few minutes into something? I run IE for 10 minutes and its ok, but then run a video and BAM it crashes. Then I run a big game and it runs about 2 minutes into the game and crashes. And sometimes it just reboots the whole PC, not shut down, restarts!
I really need help guys, I just bought all these parts and can't wait to really use them, and I got a new 19" widescreen for XMAS and can't really use that! Have you ever seen Joint Task Force on widescreen? It's rediculous!
Please help! Asrock support is on VACATION until the 2nd of January!
