I respect all of the Mod's, Editors and Admins here, but since I particularly miss the rep description feature in the User Cp, I'd like to Volunteer to help nail down the issue.

Since I know PHP and MySQL, I feel that I could help nail down the cause of some of the issues with the site.

It is not discouraging, I am merely saying that the mods and admin have been assigned that job for a reason, and if the OP has a suggestion etc, why not PM the mods? Just my View

It is completely discouraging to have one of your peers to tell you that you shouldn't try and help out an online community forum. I will not argue the semantics of this with you. Maybe he did along with his post? Maybe this post could of caught the eye of a fellow programmer and he could throw in his support as well. Your view sucks. =/

i have been here before you. i dont need to do a search to know. i am on the site on almost a daily basis.

myself would like to see the the whole site fixed not just parts. but we all know it will take time.

tim is trying to help gather people to try and help solve the issuse with the site. in return for him trying to help the servers, he gets pople comming into his thread and basicly insulting him when he is trying to do something to help EVERONE.
if he is working on one thing(if permited) that leaves admin and the rest to work on the other problems.
reps dont mean everything. you have enought to sell really that all anyone needs!!!.

Yes, the admins are there for a reason. However, running this site is not their full-time job (I assume). I'm sure they appreciate the offers of assistance.

Besides, maybe this will put timw4mail's foot in the door for becoming an admin type himself someday.
