Something interesting for HTPC enthusiasts that we missed out. Galaxy has a special 9600GT Low Profile Low Power 9600GT card that consumes less than 60W and doesn't requires external 6-pin power connector. It is based on the 9600 GT Green Edition GPU where we have been talking about lately. This card has 8-layer PCB which is 203.2mm in length and 69.5mm in height, single slot custom copper cooling so it can be fitted into a mini HTPC case. the card is clocked at 600MHz core with 512 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 900 (1800) MHz on a 256-bit wide memory bus. Outputs include DVI, HDMI.

This looks like it would go perfect with the new zotac mini-itx with pci-e 2.0 slot

Sparkle makes a LP 9800 GT. Though the low power is an issue to most that need LP cards.
These are awesome, more low profile cards for smaller but more powerful pc's.... then overclock them!

The point is you get power, with no power cable.

Its like the new 2600pro, if you get a GDDR3 version (like I did) you can flash them over to Xt speed, but you don't need the extra power cable. And they run great.

But in this case, they just downclocked some, and its low profile.
