Yes, fingerprint magnet. More importantly, the drive isn't completely silent, and is an older Samsung inside. Makes a very quiet high pitched noise when it's spinning. It's not loud, but the frequency is particularly irritating. I wouldn't care about the silence, except that it won't spin down. Ever. You have to disconnect it or flip the rocker switch. Even using software to force it to park the head doesn't work, since it spins up again.
I bought mine a few months ago, maybe they're different drives now, but I wouldn't buy from Lacie again.
Good price though, better than what I paid. And maybe mine's defective.
EDIT: Mine's 500gig. Probably different model of drive internally. Sorry, my mistake.
