want an on screen network monitor
I did the trial for cfrosspeed and the little gadget at the bottom was my best friend. does anyone know where i can get just that network monitor to watch my ups and downs?

Lanspeed2 is what I've been using for a couple years.
Something like THIS?
It monitors up and down by the day, week and month with an onscreen display.

If you're looking for just the monitor, Bitmeter does just that. I've used to for a long while, and it's nice and simple.
See if you can find an old, freeware copy of NetPerSec...

I second Netmeter,been using it for a while now,Network Meter(Vista sidebar) is a good tools also.
